The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced the revise parking hours during the holy month of Ramadan that is expected to start from May 6.
The RTA said that it will split the parking hours and will induct a two hour break during Iftar. The announcement was made on Sunday by the RTA.
The paid parking tariff during the holy month on all paid parking zones will be in effect from 8 am to 6 pm and 8 pm to 12 midnight. However, the Tecom area will be an exception.
The RTA also announced revised timings on ite various services that include registration services and vehicle testing. The Dubai Metro and tram services will conduct operations as usual with no deviations from the established timings.
The vehicle testing centres at all Tasjeel branches with the exception of Hatta and Jebel Ali, will conduct operations in dual shifts from 9 am to 3 pm and 8 pm to 2 am. The Hatta branch will function from 9am to 3pm and the Jebel Ali branch will remain open till 5pm. Meanwhile, all Customer Happiness Centres will work in straight shifts from 9am to 5pm.
